Olga Gaydos is the mother of two daughters and a son, as well as a talented dancer and dance teacher to many - including the actors and actresses in the 1978 film "The Deer Hunter", which was filmed at St. Theodosius cathedral, her home parish.

She became the director of the St. Theodosius Folk Dancers in 1960, and was the subject of an article in the Cleveland Press in December 1977.
